Which goods are subject to additional customs duty?

Dear friends, when ordering delivery of your purchases from the US, UK, Romania and Turkey, please note that a number of goods are subject to customs tax in addition to 20% VAT. Attached is a list of types of goods and the amount of duty:

Shoes - 15% of the cost
Clothing - 12% of the cost
Auto parts - 5% of the cost

Additional tax applies only to:
1. Goods worth more than 200 euros.
2. Goods for commercial use

But when importing phones, laptops, video cards, smart watches, there is no additional duty, regardless of the cost. Only 20% VAT is charged.

Thus, buying electronic gadgets in US online stores is much more profitable than in the local market.
