On January 2, “White Sales” and clearance of remaining stock start in US stores.

Historically, these sales were called “white” because shoppers wanted to start the year with a clean slate and by buying new bedding.

Today, however, not only bedding is on sale — absolutely everything is.
After the holidays, demand drops, and stores do their best to compensate for declining profits.
As a result, extra discounts appear everywhere and prices drop to their lowest levels.
